When talking isn't enough...
Have you spent years understanding your patterns, yet still find yourself overwhelmed by anxiety, hypervigilance, emotional triggers or chronic tension?
Perhaps you know why you feel the way you do—but your body hasn't caught up.

A gentle, body-based approach to healing
Trauma isn't simply stored as a memory. It can remain held within the nervous system, shaping the way we feel, respond, connect with others and move through life.
Somatic Therapy works gently with the body to help release these protective patterns, restore a sense of safety, and create lasting change.
Rather than analysing your experiences, we'll listen to what your nervous system is communicating in the present moment.
Together we'll develop the capacity to:
-
Feel safer in your body
-
Regulate stress and anxiety
-
Reduce overwhelm and emotional reactivity
-
Process unresolved trauma without becoming overwhelmed
-
Build resilience, confidence and self-trust
-
Experience more ease, connection and vitality
Sessions are available in 60 or 90 minute appointments and may include conversation, mindful awareness of body sensations, movement, breathwork, and—when working in person—gentle therapeutic touch to support nervous system regulation.
Every session is tailored to your individual needs and unfolds at a pace your nervous system can comfortably integrate.
An integrated approach.
Kali draws from several internationally recognised approaches to trauma healing, allowing each session to be guided by what will best support you.
Somatic Experiencing® (SE)
Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, evidence-informed approach developed by Dr Peter Levine. Rather than reliving traumatic events, SE helps your nervous system complete unresolved survival responses and gradually restore a greater sense of safety and regulation.
Internal Family Systems® (IFS)
We all have different "parts" within us—perhaps an inner critic, a perfectionist, a people-pleaser, or a younger wounded part carrying old pain.
IFS offers a compassionate way of understanding these parts rather than fighting against them. As your relationship with them changes, old protective patterns begin to soften, creating greater freedom, self-compassion and inner harmony.
HeartMath®
HeartMath combines breathing techniques with heart-focused awareness to quickly shift the nervous system from stress into greater calm and coherence. These practical tools can be used between sessions to support everyday resilience.
Brainspotting®
Brainspotting is a gentle, focused therapy that uses eye position to access and process trauma held deep within the brain and body, often reaching places that words alone cannot.
Women's Embodiment
For women wishing to explore a deeper relationship with themselves, Kali also integrates feminine embodiment practices where appropriate.
This work may include reconnecting with the body after trauma (including surgeries) developing healthy boundaries, releasing stored anger, restoring pleasure and vitality, preparing for pregnancy and birth, or healing the impact of difficult relational or sexual experiences.
Is Somatic Therapy right for you?
Somatic Therapy may be helpful if you're experiencing:
-
Anxiety or chronic stress
-
Trauma or PTSD
-
Emotional overwhelm
-
Hypervigilance
-
Burnout
-
Chronic pain
-
Dissociation or numbness
-
Relationship difficulties
-
Persistent patterns that talk therapy alone hasn't shifted
Healing doesn't happen by forcing yourself to move on.
It happens when your nervous system finally experiences enough safety to let go.
Your nervous system has an incredible capacity to heal and adapt. With the right support, it's possible to feel calmer, more connected, and more at home in yourself.
If something in these words speaks to you, perhaps this is the beginning. You're warmly invited to reach out, ask questions, or book a session when the time feels right.
