Spinal Energetics & TRE
A body-based approach to nervous system regulation
Spinal Energetics and Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) are gentle, body-based therapies that support nervous system regulation and help release patterns of stress, tension and protective holding. Rather than relying on talking or analysing experiences, these approaches work with the body's natural intelligence, encouraging greater ease, resilience, emotional wellbeing and a deeper sense of connection to yourself.

Spinal Energetics
Spinal Energetics is an emerging modality that combines elements of Eastern philosophies with contemporary understandings of the nervous system and the body's innate healing capacity. Through light touch, gentle guidance and energetic awareness, the practitioner encourages the body to release stored tension and protective patterns that may be contributing to physical discomfort, emotional stress or a sense of feeling "stuck."
Performed on a massage table face-down, each session is unique. Some people experience subtle movements, spontaneous stretching, emotional release or deep relaxation, while others simply notice a growing sense of calm and presence. The process is guided by your nervous system, allowing change to unfold at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Many people report feeling lighter, more connected, and more at ease in both body and mind following a session.
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)
TRE® is a simple yet effective series of exercises developed by Dr David Berceli that activates the body's natural therapeutic tremor mechanism. These gentle neurogenic tremors are a normal physiological response that help release muscular tension and calm the nervous system following stress.
During a TRE® session, you'll be safely guided through the exercises before learning how to work with your body's natural tremor response. With regular practice, TRE® can help reduce chronic tension, improve resilience, support emotional regulation, enhance sleep, and foster a greater sense of safety and relaxation. It is an empowering practice that many people continue independently as part of their ongoing wellbeing routine.
Kali trained personally with David in 2012, and has been incorporating TRE into her work with clients since then.
